Our company was started in 1995 as Jeff worked for the University of Central Oklahoma's College of Business, taking care of 150 or so faculty computers and two network computer labs. Some of the faculty started needing help with their home computers and help with this new thing called "the Internet" so, he started what would become On-Call Computer Services, Inc. on the side with his first partner.
On starting the business, Jeff says "When the time came to go full time and quit my "day job" I did what any tech would do - I drained our waterbed and setup an office, told my wife (who was 5 months pregnant at the time) that I was starting my own business and everything was going to be awesome! (She somehow wasn't as thrilled as I was about the idea)."
We then took on our second partner, moved from the bedroom, to a friends two car garage and then to our first office in the span of 6 months. In another six months we hired employees and moved into a bigger office. Hosted our first servers on ISDN lines bonded together and then our first full T-1 in 1997.
The rest they say is history but there is a reason why we started the company and that is because we truly fell like we can help other businesses use technology to grow and manage their businesses, and if we can help them in their day to day operations and long term goals, we can thus help better their lives and ours as well.
We have helped many small to medium size businesses and churches as well as done work for the State of Oklahoma, Department of Homeland Security, United States Secret Service, and contract work for Microsoft, Dell, HP and IBM. We have been around for fifteen years serving the Oklahoma City metro area and especially the place we love to call home - Edmond.
